UAE announces free parking for Eid Al Adha holiday week

Parking will be free across Abu Dhabi for six days next week in celebration of Eid Al Adha.
The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi (DoT) announced on Wednesday that its parking bays across the emirate will be free of charge from Sunday, August 19, to Saturday, August 25 at 7.59am, when the tariffs will be reactivated.
The DoT has called upon its customers not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and not to block vehicles or traffic flow during the Eid Al Adha holiday.
The DoT has also urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 9pm to 8am.
"All customer service centers will be closed during the Eid holiday and work will resume on Sunday, August 26, 2018," said the DoT statement.

Dubai parking

Dubai's Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) had announced the timing of transport services during Eid Al-Adha holiday affecting customers' happiness centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro & Tram, marine transit means, and centres of service providers (technical testing).
Customers' Happiness centres will be closed from Sunday, August 19  up to Thursday, August 23. Official work will resume on Sunday, August 26.
As for the smart customer service centre in Umm Romool, it will work round-the-clock, as usual.
All public car parks will be free, except for the multi-level parking terminals, from Sunday August 19 till Friday, August 24. The parking tariff will be re-activated as of Saturday, August 25.
