Sharjah Police announced new online services by Sharjah Driving Institute (SDI) on Tuesday.
In a statement issued on social media, Sharjah Police said the new smart services are available on the SDI website to save customers' time.
The new services will be available through a smart app on the website, including online registration, distance learning, and opening a learner file for obtaining a driver's licence.
The new services were launched as a part of the Sharjah Police strategy to meet customers' satisfaction.
Lt. Col. Humaid Saeed Al Jallaf, Director of the Sharjah Driving Licencing Department at Sharjah Police, said that the new services aim at providing the customers with the most recent technologies implemented around the world.
He added that the new services include distance learning for theoretical classes and other classes on traffic culture, as well as including making appointments for tests and receiving results.
He added that customers can also make online payments for services.
