Dubai - Motorist advised to be extra cautious when driving in conditions of fog or low visibility.

Multiple accidents were reported across Dubai on Thursday morning, causing traffic congestion and tailbacks on major roads.
Dubai Police reported an accident through their official Twitter handle.
"An accident on Emirates Road after Al Maktoum Airport towards Abu Dhabi, kindly take caution," the tweet read.

In another tweet, the police also advised  to be extra cautious when driving in conditions of fog or low visibility early morning.
Two accidents were also reported on D57  Sheikh Zayed Road causing heavy traffic delays, according to Google Maps.

Accidents were also reported on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road near Dubai Silicon Oasis backlog next to Liwan before the Dubai-Al Ain Road junction.

Meanwhile, traffic is also building up on multiple roads from Sharjah towards Dubai .
