Sheikh Mohammed, who is among the most followed leaders on social media platforms, made his debut on TikTok with an inspirational video that features his own voice.
At the time of filing this report, the video has already garnered over 90,000 likes, 18,000 comments and over 2,400 shares.
The Dubai Ruler will share short clips of his 50-year journey in public service, providing insights in leadership and management to inspire youth to create positive change in their societies.
The launch of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s official TikTok account comes from his keenness to connect with his followers, especially the young generation who make up the majority of the short-form mobile video platform’s audience.
Announcing his account @hhshkmohd on the social media platform, Sheikh Mohammed tweeted on Saturday: “TikTok has more than 800 million followers. We want to be where the people are. We want to build positive Arabic content. We want to listen to young people and have them hear our story.”
Youth are at the centre of several humanitarian and social initiatives that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launches and oversees, including the Arab Reading Challenge, Arab Hopemakers, one million Arab coders and Madrasa that benefits millions of young people across the Arab region.
