Sharjah royal Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi passes away

Sharjah - Three-day mourning period announced in Sharjah.

The Court of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, today mourned the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who passed away this morning.
Sheikh Ahmed was the brother of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
In a statement, the Ruler's Court expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and members of Al Qasimi family, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise.
Funeral prayers will be performed on Wednesday morning at the King Faisal Mosque, Sharjah, and the body will be taken afterwards to be buried at Al Jubail cemetery.
The statement added that condolences will be accepted at Al Badee Palace in Sharjah from 9 am tomorrow, for three days.
A 3-day mourning period was announced in Sharjah, during which UAE flags will be flown at half mast.
