Global Village, a multicultural family entertainment and shopping destination in the city, on Sunday announced an honorary name change of the Kiosk Street in another successful Guinness World Record attempt.
Since Kiosk Street has long been called the Happiness Street by loyal guests, Global Village authorities decided to make it official this year on the occasion of the International Happiness Day.
The new street sign is made up of over 3,000 smiley-faced pin badges forming the words 'Happiness Street'.
This Instagram-worthy street sign is officially the "Largest Pin Badge Word" in the world.
To celebrate the International Happiness Day in style, famous landmarks were lit in yellow and smiley faces adorned both the largest underwater screen and the iconic Wheel of the World, as guests soaked in the sights and sounds in the evening amid fun and frolic while complying with all Covid-19 precautionary norms.
