The Mohammad bin Rashid Centre for Islamic Culture has announced that 3,184 people converted to Islam this year. All the requests for conversion to Islam were received online amid the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak, the centre announced through a press statement.
Hind Mohammed Lootah, the Director of the centre, said the institution would continue to deliver the right message about Islam, and spread its lofty principles among different communities and faiths living in Dubai.
The centre is in constant touch with new converts to Islam and provides them with various services such as religious, social, cultural and educational. The centre receives online requests for conversion on its website www.iacad.gov.ae, or via the free-toll number 800600.
