His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has hailed the country's resilience to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
He took to Twitter to post his inspiring new year message: "In 2020, the people of the UAE have overcome unprecedented challenges with strength and resilience.
"As we enter 2021, we do so with a shared sense of unity, determination and optimism for the new year ahead. I wish the people of the UAE a safe, prosperous and Happy New Year."
