Paramedics in Dubai attended to 493 cases during the New Year’s Eve celebrations. The paramedics from the Dubai Ambulance also offered medical care to 542 patients during the celebrations.

The Dubai Ambulance had set up a comprehensive plan for dealing with NYE emergencies. It had stationed:


>> 200 ambulances

>> 685 paramedics


>> 122 ambulance stations

>> An extra 78 emergency points at celebration sites.

On NYE, the world’s longest ambulance was stationed in Downtown Dubai. Paramedics on board offered emergency services to NYE revellers.

The Government of Dubai Media Office had also shared photos showing paramedics around the Burj Khalifa using environment-friendly electric scooters to provide emergency assistance.
