50% discount on this fees in UAE for one month

Umm Al Quwain - The one-month discount will take effect on August 1st.

The Umm Al Quwain police have announced 50 per cent discount on the vehicle impoundment fee.
Col Saeed Obaid bin Aran, director of traffic and patrols department at the UAQ police said the one-month discount will take effect on August 1 and will end on September 1, 2018.
"The move is aimed to mark the Year of Zayed and bring happiness to drivers here."
The erring drivers are enlightened on the dangers of their traffic violations, he added.
"They also pledge never to committee the same violations again for road users' safety and theirs."
Col Bin Aran urged erring drivers to avail the 50 per cent discount.
"It is a good opportunity for all drivers with accumulating traffic fines to end their suffering and pay only half of the due amount to avoid the impoundment of their vehicles."
Ashraf Mahmoud, an Egyptian resident here, said he was excited about the unexpected discount.
"Now, I can pay Dh1,500 instead of Dh3,000 against the impoundment of my vehicle."
