Ramadan working hours of MoH Health Centres

The Ministry of Health has directed all medical districts and primary health centers to set the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ministry has issued a circulation in this respect to all the concerned authorities. Dr. Mahmoud Fikri, Assistant Undersecretary for Health Policies at the Ministry of Health, said: “All our healthcare services will be available during the holy month efficiently and adequately. As for hospitals, the working hours will be set as per the circulation and the emergency departments will continue to work throughout the day in all the hospitals”.

The Ministry of Health called all the directors of the medical districts and primary health centers to implement the circulation in all the centers to ensure the availability of health services for the UAE nationals and residents during the holy month of Ramadan.

Additionally, Dr. Fikri held a meeting with the directors of primary health centers to discuss the preparations of the primary health centers for the holy month and ways of avoiding congestion times in all the medical districts.

Dr. Fikri emphasized that the health centers should work 24/7 taking into consideration the flexible working hours according to the specified schedule all over the week.

The dental clinics will work morning and evening shifts according to available capabilities while the health centers will not work on Friday mornings during the holy month but evening shifts only.

“We also called all the directors to coordinate with the officials at the school health, preventive medicine and motherhood and childhood departments to involve their doctors in the working shift hours during the holy month of Ramadan”, Dr. Fikri elaborated.

Dubai Medical District

The Health centers in Dubai Medical Districtwill receive outpatient visitors from 9.00 am till 2.00 p.m. During the evening shifts, Al Rashidya, Hor Al Anz, Al Ittihad and Al Aweer Health Centers working hours between Sundays to Thursdays from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Hor Al Anz Health Center will work during official holidays and Fridays at evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

In the Sharjah Medical District, Al Qaraen Health Center works from Sunday to Thursday to be extended from 9.00 am till 12.00 midnight except on Fridays from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, the center will open from 9.00 am till 1.00 pm and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Al Riqqa, Al Sabkha, Waset, Al Khalidyia, Al Hamryia, Dibba Al Hosn, and Luluaia health centers will open from Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 am till 12.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Wasit Health Center will open during the weekends as follows: Fridays from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight and Saturdays from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Al Rafea and Al Dhaid Health Centers will work from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon between Sundays to Thursdays.

Al Maleeha and Al Thumaid Health Centers will open from Sundays to Thursdays during morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, working hours will be from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon only.

Al Musalla Health Center will work from Sundays to Thursdays during morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Fridays and Saturdays, the working hours will be from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight only.

Wadi Al Helw works from Sundays to Thursdays during morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m.

Al Nahwa Health Center will open from Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m.

Abu Mousa and Al Madam Health Centers will work during morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and from evenings from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. The centers will also implement the on call duty 24/7.

Ajman Medical District,

Al Madina and Mushairef Health Centers will work between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 p.m. and evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, the centers will work from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Fridays, Al Madina Health Center will work evening shifts only between 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Al Hamidyia Health Center will open between Sundays to Thursdays morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon.

Al Manama Health Center morning shifts only between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon.

Al Muzarae Health Center will open between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m.

Um Al Qiwain Medical District

Al Khazan, Al Salma and Falaj Al Mualla Health Centers will open between Sundays to Thursdays morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Fridays, they will open evening shifts from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays the morning shifts will begin from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and evening shifts will be from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Ras Al Khaima Medical District

The Ras Al Khaima Health Center will open between Sundays to Thursdays, an extended shift from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 midnight except Fridays from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, the center will be from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Al Mamoora and Al Jazeera Health Centers will work between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Fridays, the centers will work from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight only.

Al Munaei Health will work 24 hours a day between Saturdays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Fridays, the working hours will be from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Al Rams Health Center will work between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m. on Saturdays, the evening shifts will be from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m.

Al Humranya, Al Jeer, Julphar and Khat Health Centers will work between Sundays to Thursdays morning shifts from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon.

Shoaka Health Center will work between Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon.

Kadra Health Center will open between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon.

Other health centers (Safni, Shamal, Al Nakheel, Al Thait, Saif Bin Ali, and Digdaga) will work between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. Evening shifts will be from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m.

Fujairah Medical District

The Muraished, Al Madina and Kadfa Health Centers will work between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon. Evening Shifts will begin from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 noon. On Fridays, the centers will work evening shifts only from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, the centers will work from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight.

Al Qarya, Dhadna, Al Tubain, Wadi Sidr and Al Siji Health Centers will work between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. and from 8.30 p.m. till 11.00 p.m. on Saturdays, the working hours will be from 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m.

Merbeh and Badia Health Centers will open between Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon and from 8.30 p.m. till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, Al Badia Health Center will open morning shifts between 9.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m.

Other government offices

Dubai Customs

Dubai Customs announced the official working hours at customs centers during the holy month of Ramadan to ensure clearance of goods whether for individuals or companies at convenient timings.

The customs centers at Dubai Cargo Village, Al Maktoum International Airport - Cargo Terminal, Dubai Flower Centre, Jebel Ali, Coastal Berth, Al Khor Marine Operations and Hatta Customer Service Centre will be open 24/7 throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The Jebel Ali Customer Service Centre will work from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The Communication and eServices Department will continue to receive customer inquiries regarding customs transactions on the toll free (80080080) from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. The Postal Customs Center will operate from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, while the Dubai Metals & Commodities Center will operate from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Working hours at Al Khor Operations Centre and Al Hamriyah Center will be from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm. The working hours of service centres at Ducamz, Silicon Oasis, Dubai Textile City and Dry Port and Claims & Collection at Dubai Intl Airport Free Zone and Cargo Village, will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The working hours at Port Rashid centers and Customs Declaration Clearance at the Customs Declaration Management Department will be from 8:00 am till 2:00 pm, while the Customs Declaration Management Department will operate round-the-clock on clearing customs declarations, whereas declarations service (cancelation or amendment) will be open from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm.

Dubai Customs affirms its commitment to provide continuous goods clearance services during the days of the holy month of Ramadan in keeping with the Department’s vision and strategic objectives.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry

To serve the business community better throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has introduced new timings to its head office, branch and representative offices.

The modified Ramadan working hours are from 8am to 2pm Sunday to Thursday and become effective from the first day of Ramadan. The new timings will continue until the end of the Holy Month and will help customers and staff members avoid the peak hour traffic rush.

The Ramadan schedule is applicable to the Membership and Documentation Services Department at the Chamber headquarters as well as its branch office in Jebel Ali, and representative offices in Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ) and Al Aweer.

The Membership and Documentation Services Department at the main office and the Jebel Ali Branch, which deal with the issuance of Certificates of Origin, document attestation and registration and renewal of membership, are also available from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays to facilitate the business community complete their important business documentation over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the representative offices at the Department of Economic Development (DED) and Al Tawar Center will be operating from 8am to 1pm Sunday to Thursday. JAFZA 14 office will be open from 9am to 2.30pm from Sunday to Thursday.

Ministry of Labor

The Ministry of Labour on Tuesday announced the working hours for customer services during the month of Ramadan starting from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour issued a circular said that official working hours for the ministry’s employees providing customer services will be divided in to two shifts. The morning shift will start work from 9 am to 2 pm, while the timing of the second shift will be from 12:30 to 5:30 pm.
