Festival offers best products from Indonesia

LuLu Group, as part of promoting communities, is holding Indonesia fest at its hypermarket in Mushrif Mall.
Indonesian Ambassador to UAE Husin Bagis inaugurated the initiative 'Best of Indonesia' that runs till Wednesday.
"This is a good way to promote Indonesian culture," Bagis said.
He pointed out that last year LuLu Group had opened its first hypermarket and department store in Jakarta. LuLu Group plans to invest $500 million on a project in Indonesia, which includes setting up of 10 hypermarkets and department stores by the end of next year and a central logistics and warehousing facility in Jakarta.
'Best of Indonesia' includes range of Indonesian products such as clothes, electronic items, vegetables, fruits and fashion products. And these sections are already thronged by curious customers.
The favourite, though, is stall serving varieties of Indonesian food.
Bagis and embassy staff tried various delicacies. "I hope more products will be seen here soon," he said about the fest.
Indonesian embassy officials, LuLu Group CEO Saifee Rupawala, regional director Abubaker TP among others were present during the inauguration.
LuLu Group had earlier this month held a campaign 'Beautiful Britain' with variety food products being imported from the UK.
