Breeza Butiong wants the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) to continue for the entire year.
"I have really been inspired by this challenge," said the Dubai-based 29-year-old healthcare marketer.
"I work six days a week and spend my weekends at church, with mates or doing some event management, but in between I squeeze in time for exercise because I like moving," she said.
Breeza, who has been in Dubai for the past seven years, said fitness could be of any shape, at anytime and anywhere.
"Maybe one day I will create a hashtag #MoveMore, pushing for 30 minutes of exercise a day every day," she said. She added that exercising and staying fit is a continuous effort. "You have got to love what you do."
Though not a sportsperson, Breeza said the challenge had inspired her to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle.
"I like to eat health and prefer organic food... Weekly, I do yoga, Zumba or dancing - anything that will make me move more."
For her, clocking up 30 minutes of physical activity daily is not the only goal. Taking the DFC as a chance to motivate her colleagues to get active, she created a fitness challenge for more than 200 employees at her workplace.
"We have free, hour-long yoga and Zumba activities for all the employees who are free in the evening," she said.
