Ministries, federal entities urged to upload Emirates ID details

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is continuing its efforts to upload Emirates ID details within employees' records in the Federal Financial System.
This is to implement the financial circular No. 3 for 2016, issued in April this year. Since then, the number of employees with incomplete or inaccurate national ID details are down to 280 employees, compared to 3,000 employees previously.
MoF followed up with ministries and federal entities to ensure the completion of Emirates ID number uploading, and additionally, withheld July salaries of employees with incomplete or inaccurate national ID information, until the details were added.
The Ministry has previously announced the need for all ministries and federal entities linked to the Federal Financial System to enter or correct the Emirates ID numbers of their employees by July 10.
Mariam Mohammed Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Management of Financial Resources, stressed the importance of completing the uploading timelines, saying that accurate data facilities improves fulfilling of government transactions and employees' requests.
