Lulu, Make-A-Wish raise awareness

As per the campaign plan, shoppers at Lulu hypermarkets and supermarkets may choose to support Make-A-Wish Foundation by adding Dh1 or more to their shopping bill.

Abu Dhabi: Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, in collaboration with Lulu Group International has launched a campaign to support the foundation as well as to raise awareness of the foundations activities and grant the wishes of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

The campaign aims to raise awareness and the profile of the foundation which is led by the wife of Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Shaikha bint Saif Al Nahyan, the Honorary Chairperson.

This came about through a joint Press conference, which was held in Khalidiya Mall in the presence of Shaikha Noor Fahim bint Sultan Al Qasimi and Hamdan Al Kaabi, members of the Board of Trustees, and Hani Al Zubaidi, chief executive officer on behalf on Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE and Abubaker TP, Regional Director and Nandakumar V, chief communications officer on behalf of Lulu Group International.

As per the campaign plan, shoppers at Lulu hypermarkets and supermarkets may choose to support Make-A-Wish Foundation by adding Dh1 or more to their shopping bill. At the end of the campaign on July 31, the total donation collected from shoppers will be calculated to which Lulu Group International will also add equal amount and hand over to Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE.
