The Chance is a global football talent search that gives young amateur footballers from around the world the chance to prove themselves on an elite stage and take their game to the highest level.

The final 100 players from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, UAE and Qatar competed on Saturday at Al Ahli Club to win a spot at the global finals. Omar Rahmani, Mounir Bourayou and Alexis Khazzaka will be representing the Middle East at The Chance Global Finals in Barcelona later this year.

The Chance winners will join the final 100 players at the global final in Spain. They will take part in an intense training and competition in late August. They will be evaluated by a world-class team of coaches and scouts.

“The past two days have been really tough and I still can’t believe that I’m one of the final three. It’s a dream come true,” said Omar Rahmani.

“When I first came here, I was sure that I will be one of the final three, but the past two days have been really intense and at some point I had my doubts,” said Alexis Khazzaka. “I am extremely happy now that I will be representing my country in Barcelona and I hope I’ll get noticed– that would be the ultimate dream. It’s a dream come true”, said Mounir Bourayou. “I will do my best in Barcelona and I hope I’ll get noticed.”

The best 16 players chosen by Nike from the global finals will then participate in the ultimate training tour; facing some of the best academy teams in world football, including Manchester United, Juventus and a US Youth National Team during a 4 week tour.

Players will live the life of an elite footballer and train at the best facilities under the watchful eyes of club coaches and scouts.
