Mohamed Ali Al Noman, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), has reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment and continuous support to all events and activities that strengthen Sharjah’s position in the cultural, sports and economic spheres.
He said this on the occasion of the Academic Forum for Support and Rehabilitation of the Handicapped, organised by the Khorfakkan Club for the Handicapped under the patronage of Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, May 6 to 7 under SCTDA sponsorship.
Held under the slogan, ‘Together for Better Support and Rehabilitation of the Handicapped’, the forum hosted eminent academics and top experts from across the region and from around the world specialising in the welfare and rehabilitation of the special needs people.
As part of the initiative, the SCTDA is supporting the Khorfakkan Blind Football Championship being hosted by the Emirates Association of the Blind led by Shaikh Saqr bin Mohamed al Qasimi this week, on Friday and Saturday.
