The inaugural Dubai First Golf Classic tees off at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on April 13, and will stop at Abu Dhabi Golf Club on May 4 and The Els Club, Dubai on September 21.
Open to any amateur golfer holding an official Emirates Golf Federation handicap, the series will offer lucrative prizes with Dubai First’s much acclaimed credit card and loyalty platform, Sky Miles, along with the chance for leading players to qualify for the prestigious Golf Digest Classic in October, also headlined by Dubai First.
“By launching a series of prestigious amateur events, hosted at some of the finest venues in the region, it allows us to communicate directly to our current and prospective customers. It was the perfect sport for us,” explained Amit Marwah, Dubai First’s Head of Marketing and Communications.
Four Division winners from each of the three qualifying events will be invited to play in the Golf Digest Classic, held at Emirates Golf Club on the world-renowned Majlis course, host venue for the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. There they will partner with UAE PGA professionals and industry leaders from across the Middle East’s golf industry.
