Winning the toss was the best thing to happen for Phoenix Medicine as they tore apart the DCB Kings bowlers.

Kaleem in particular was ruthless in his approach hammering 164 from only 51 deliveries out of which 132 runs were dealt in nine boundaries and 16 sixes.

He and Fahad Ansari (52) achieved 94 runs in the first five overs while another 92 came in the next five. The duo shared an amazing 164 runs partnership for the opening wicket.

Ayub Inayat arrived only to further add to DCB Kings bowlers woes blasting a 27-ball 73 runs again including seven huge sixes and four fours.

A late 11-ball 22 from Qasim ensured Phoenix Medicine had 346 for five in 20 overs.

Chasing a nearly impossible target, DCB Kings suffered early losses thanks to Usman and Moaibullah’s double strikes.

Recovery from such a tight situation was never there but Rajesh held the innings to a certain extent to score an unbeaten 40 from 38 deliveries including a lone boundary and three sixes before they managed 152 for eight in 20 overs.
