Dubai - Shaikh Faisal bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, has inaugurated the second branch of Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (Sata), a well established International Air Transport Association (Iata) accredited travel agency, in Dubai, as part of its expansion plans in the region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Saif bin Sanad, Director Finance; Arshad Munir, Director General of Sata; Thomas Varghese, DGM - Sata; and all the managers of Sata attend the ceremony, in addition to airline and trade partners.
The new branch is located at Khalid bin Waleed Road, Bur Dubai, will service the travel requirements of business and leisure travelers. And it will offer a complete range of travel services such as worldwide airline reservation and ticketing, hotel reservation, holiday packages, cruise packages, rent cars, air charters, and more.
Shaikh Faisal said: "This step will result in further strengthening Sata's presence in the region and will mark its endeavor to meet the need of high-level service to retail and corporate segments. Dubai market is very important, we are very confident that the excellent reputation and best services provided by Sata will attract more clients, especially the location of the second branch is a distinctive in Bur Dubai and its market share in this industry will be bigger and better."
Arshad Munir said: "The opening of the second branch in Dubai is a milestone achievement for Sata. This move comes after the excellent success of our first branch in Dubai. Of course the new office will cover one of the vital locations in Dubai."
He mentioned that Sata is continuously working towards achieving its goals which is to spread our wings and open several branches all over the UAE. We have our presence in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and soon we will be opening our branches in other part of UAE as well.
The latest branch is the second branch of the company at Sahara Centre and one of the eight branches opened in the UAE this year, the exchange house said in a statement
