Dubai-Egypt trade grows 36% in Q1
The trade between Dubai and Egypt recorded a significant growth of 36 per cent during the first quarter of 2012, reaching Dh2.2 billion compared to Dh1.6 billion in the first quarter of 2011.
According to the latest statistics released by Dubai Customs, the value of Dubai’s total imports from Egypt during the first quarter reached Dh540 million, compared to Dh484 million during the same period in 2011. The emirate’s exports to Egypt reached Dh512 million compared to Dh308 million in the first quarter of 2011.
