As many as 1,091 outlets and commercial establishments were inspected on Thursday by Dubai Economy. No shop was closed or issued fine. But warning was issued to eight companies for not abiding by the precautionary measures.

The compliance rate to Covid-19 guidelines by the commercial outlets has been staying high in the emirate, thanks to increased inspection during the reopening phase of the economy.
The daily inspections start with the market opening time in the morning and last till the markets are closed. Dubai Economy directed traders to comply with the Covid-19 precautionary measures, such as wearing face masks and gloves and ensuring social distancing at the shops.
The regular inspections has ensured improvement in compliance of Covid-19 regulations such as social distancing and other safety measures among local shops.
Dubai Economy has called on consumers to report any non-compliance to the Covid-19 precautionary guidelines via the Dubai Consumer App available on Apple, Google, and Huawei stores, by calling 600545555, or on the Consumerrights.ae website.
