Ahalia Hospital receives CAP accreditation
Ahalia Hospital, Abu Dhabi has received the prestigious CAP (College of American Pathologists) accreditation to their laboratory services.
With this accreditation, Ahalia joined the elite group of internationally recognized facilities that meet the highest standards of excellence in quality laboratory practices.
Ahalia Hospital is the first private hospital in the emirates of Abu Dhabi to receive this coveted accreditation. The CAP accreditation process was comprised of CAP inspector’s examination of Ahalia Hospital laboratory safety program and records, staff qualifications, equipments, facilities, and overall management, as well as laboratory records and procedure quality control.
The CAP Accreditation programme is designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients. The CAP Laboratory Accreditation also serves as a forum for exchanging laboratory best practices and provides additional educational benefit to the entire healthcare team. It is the highest form of medical laboratory accreditation.
