Some schools take very good care

My kids travel by school bus. And there are two nannies who manage them in the bus.
Now the school has implemented a 'tap' system where every child has to tap their IDs in a small machine placed beside the bus driver while boarding and getting off the bus. While tapping, a text message will be sent to every parent notifying that the child has boarded and gotten off the bus.
But I believe every system at some point is bound to fail, and human intervention is very important.
It is the responsibility of the bus driver and nannies to check if all seats are empty. We are talking about life here, it is irreplaceable. My sincere condolences to the parents of the six-year-old boy who lost his life after he dozed off in the bus and did not get off.
