Sharjah has done well to protect teachers

Kudos to the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) for protecting the salaries of the teachers especially in these tough times. Teachers have been putting great efforts to make e-learning effective and ensure students are benefitting from this new way of learning. A lot of them have been working and learning 24 /7. The much needed recognition and gratitude towards teaching community is indeed a blessing in the days of Covid19. Protecting the pay of teachers will motivate teachers to do more. It would boost their morale amid these stressful times. As such the salaries of teachers aren't high, therefore, the existing pay should be safeguarded. -Latha Narasimhan, Sharjah
