There are other ingredients that are vital to make the bond stronger and lasting. The times have changed dramatically but the core ingredients of unconditional love, trust, nurturing, understanding and adjustment remain the same.

Even the seemingly ‘best’ relationships require these qualities to keep harmony and spark in marriage. The transition from single to together is filled with many changes and challenges. It often takes several years to move from ‘my way’ to ‘our way’. Some of the biggest fallacies and reasons for hitting marriage the rock bottom are sky high expectations, the fairy tale ‘happily ever after’ concept and that the partner is going to make you whole and happy thinking.
