Running makes you happier
This is with reference with the column, Running is not just about fitness, it's about happiness, too' (KT, Oct 20). Physical exercise, especially running, makes a person more energetic, agile and yes, happier. The endorphins, released during the run, generally referred to as a 'Runner's high' act as a natural drug. Running helps you to set goals and work towards accomplishing them. Even though it can be an individual sport, running with friends or interacting with other runners can make you sociable. It also improves your self-esteem and gets you into better shape.So people, it's time to put on your running shoes to create a better you.
