It is a distortion of facts. If the cinestar says that the investigating agency has given him a clean chit, it doesn’t mean he is seconding the decision. I have seen him on Aaj Tak debate and he was non-committal all along the long interview as he cleverly dodged the answer. Here the reporter is overenthusiastic in putting words in the star’s mouth.

Let’s not mix politics with entertainment. He is promoting his film and not making a political statement. Can we avoid jumping the guns in such controversial matters?
