More rules for online transactions

The news, Scammers skim Dh1.2 million from trader's account in Dubai (KT, Oct 13) came as a shock. I feel banks can take some precautionary measures to safeguard users against such frauds. For instance, online transactions of more that Dh50,000 should not be allowed. Banks should make it mandatory for customers to be present in person at the bank to do transactions. It might seem inconvenient, but it will save us from trouble.
