In Her Shoes campaign is setting the right examples

In Her Shoes is a great campaign initiative. More often than not we hear success stories of men, and women who support them in their journeys. In Her Shoes is an empathetic approach towards breaking male dominance and gender stereotyping. The supportive roles played by spouses in bringing out the full potential of women is really praise worthy. Taking up the supportive role by men spontaneously makes all the difference. It has shown that true happiness lies when men and women are equal partners, complementing and nurturing each other. When supportive spouses join hands the daily drudgery and responsibilities become lighter. These stories present the right examples to the future generations, too. If many could understand the need to change their roles it will go a long way in preventing broken homes causing unnecessary distress and anxiety to children who face such situations.
