Appreciating solitude

To have our own space, whether at office or at home, is essential for a stress-free life. It is especially importance to have one’s own space at home.

Surely, no man is an island, but solitude of which writers and philosophers have often written in glorious terms quite often acts as a soothing balm on our bleeding inner emotional wounds. Solitude is not to be confused with loneliness. Loneliness is pain, but solitude in most cases is bliss. However, it is true that solitude is a nice place to visit, but a bad place to stay.
