Banning things is not going to help (Dubai Police issue advisory on online video games; KT, Dec 7). I played these games when I was young, and I played them a lot. I turned out just fine. And that wasn't because I played or didn't play a certain game. It was mainly the role of my parents and the bunch that I used to hang out with. It is the duty of the parents to put suitable restraints on children's activity, raise them well and guide them so they can fend for themselves and think through in difficult times. This is just a normal argument, no hate or offence to anyone.
