With the premium segment turning out to be a bright spot for the retail industry, Expo Centre Sharjah has launched Trendz Exhibition 2020, a consumer fair to target the region’s increasing demand for luxury apparel, footwear, perfumes and other accessories. The fair will run until December 19.
As one of the most attractive markets for luxury goods in the Middle East, the UAE is home to consumers who are willing and able to spend on premium products, a key factor that laid a strong foundation for an event like Trendz.
“Premium fashion products have become an integral part of the lifestyle in the UAE, with consumption being driven by high disposable income, rise in discretionary spending, presence of leading global brands and a young and fashionable population.
The fact that the UAE acts as a gateway for global fashion brands to the entire Middle East region has helped the country become a world-class retail hub with a strong domestic market,†said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah.
Trendz Exhibition will not just be about affordability but about quickly adapting to fast-changing consumer requirements and offering them a sense of identity and belonging, better value, choice and quality.
“Trendz Exhibition 2020, with its long and exclusive line-up of regional and global brands, will keep you up-to-date with the latest trends and designs and spoil you with its wide range of products and bargain deals,†said Jacob Varghese, managing director of Liz Exhibitions, event partner for Trendz 2020. Entry fee is Dh5; children under 12 can enter free.
