Jaleel Cash & Carry opens largest outlet in RAK

Jaleel Cash & Carry, the region's largest bulk buy outlet chain and a division of UAE-based leading investment company, Jaleel Holdings, opened its largest store in Ras Al Khaimah. This is the tenth outlet of Jaleel Cash & Carry wholesale chain.
Mohammed Al Mahmoud, director of business development, Department of Economic Development - RAK, inaugurated the new outlet in the presence of Jaleel Holdings Managing Director - Sameer K Mohamed, director - Dr. Zakir K Mohamed, General Manager Shihab V and other dignitaries.
The 20,000 square feet outlet is located in Al Qusaidat, close to Nakheel roundabout, in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah. The parent company, a pioneer in the UAE's wholesale sector, marks its 46th anniversary by opening the Cash and Carry outlet in the emirate.
Sameer K Mohamed, managing director of Jaleel Holdings, said, "We are pleased to open the second Cash & Carry store in Ras Al Khaimah and the tenth in the UAE. This is a proud moment for us to launch the innovative model of our business at a place, where our chairman started his journey nearly five decades ago. We are committed to the regional market with further growth plans to expand our footprint on a larger scale."
Jaleel Cash & Carry has revolutionized the wholesale market in the region and anchors more than 9,000 B2B customers. The company is the largest organized wholesaler stocking more than 6,000 products in both food and non-food comprising of categories like fruits, vegetables, rice, pulses, beverages, confectionary, detergents, cleaning supplies, household goods and other FMCG items, to name a few.
The company predominantly caters to HORECA - Hotels, Restaurants, Cafeterias and caterings - and the supermarket or grocery segment. This is in addition to supplying foodstuff and other product lines to more than 100 government entities and educational institutions.
Jaleel Cash & Carry is currently developing its biggest facility, spanning over an area of 400,000 square feet, at an investment of Dh100 million at Dubai Wholesale City (DWSC), the region's largest fully integrated wholesale hub.
