Man goes extra mile to return wallet to stranger

Wallet contained all his important ID cards and a huge amount of money.

A good Samaritan won hearts online after he went the extra mile to return the wallet of a man who left it at a restaurant.
In a Facebook post, the Philippine Star shared the story Hans Asenci and how he managed to get his wallet back. According to Asenci, he had lunch with his family at a restaurant in Manila and was already driving home when he realized that his wallet was missing. 
"We were already far from the restaurant when I checked my wallets and didn't feel my wallet. We immediately drove back to ask the staff but they said they did not notice anything." Resigned at losing his wallet and important IDs in a snap, a certain Maynard Ronquillo messaged him on Facebook and offered him a glimmer of hope.
Ronquillo contacted Asceni to inform him that he found the missing wallet and promptly returned it to the address mentioned in one of Asceni's IDs.
"I got the wallet back and everything is accounted for - no more, no less," Asceni said.
He also offered the good Samaritan a small reward but the latter refused to accept it.
"Even though life is tough nowadays, there are still people with kind hearts out there," Asceni said.
