The teenage son of Pakistan Peoples Party's senior leader Qamar Zaman Kaira died in a road accident along with his friend on Friday (May 17).

According to the details, the incident took place in his hometown near LalaMusa, Punjab when his vehicle speeding vehicle rammed into a tree, resulting in fatal injuries.
The deceased was the student of Government College, Lahore.
Qamar Zaman was informed of the incident in a press briefing in Islamabad about the death of his son, Usama Qamar (18).
Expressing his grief over the death of Kaira's son, Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announced to suspend all political engagements for Saturday (May 18) in wake of sad demise of PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira's son.
"All the political activities will be suspended on Saturday" Bilwal Bhutto said in a statement issued by the party secretariat.
He said that PPP and Bhutto family was standing with Kaira in the hour of distress.
President PPP Asif Zardari and other senior leaders including Nayyer Hussain Bokhari, Sherry Rehman, Moula Bux Chandio, and Dr Nafisa Shah also poured their heart out to Qamar Zaman Kaira.
Talking to APP, PPP Punjab general secretary Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed said that the funeral prayer of Usama Qamar would be offered on May 18 (Saturday) at around 03:00 pm at the ground of link school near main grand trunk (GT) road Lalamusa.
Meanwhile, government representatives and politicians also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of PPP leader son.
In their separate condolence messages, they extended their heartiest sympathies to the bereaved family.
