Imagine, if you are the only passenger on a plane and you have the pleasure of personalized VIP flight attendance! What a surreal feeling, isn't it? This is exactly what Karon Grieve experienced when she took the flight to Greece from Glasgow airport. The 189-passenger Jet2 plane, flew to a Greek-island Crete with only one passenger aboard.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the personalized flight was that Grieve paid only $60 for the 4-hour flight!
Once Grieve reached the Glasgow airport, she figured out that her flight is going to be fairly quiet, due to the slack tourist season with not many people heading to Greece. However, she did not expect the entire plane to herself.
Grieve was quoted saying in the Daily Record, "When she asked the girl at the check-in counter about how many other passengers were on-board the plane, the girl said I should take a guess. So I counted it down from 10 and it turned out there were three people booked on."
But later the flight crew informed Grieve that the other two passengers had not shown up and that she was going to be the only passenger with a 'private' plane!

The cabin crew addressed Grieve with her first name during the flight announcements and the flight captain, Laura, came to meet her personally.
"Hi, Karon. We are now flying over Croatia, look to your left," Grieve was quoted saying in the Daily Record. Grieve continued to receive personalized commentary throughout the flight and got to sit in the aircraft's first row.
The Jet2 spokesperson was quoted saying, "We're delighted Karon got to experience our VIP customer service in style."
