After keeping Indian audiences in splits with their comic act, the team of Comedy Nights With Kapil entertained fans in Dubai on Friday. The popularity of this TV show was evident in the number of people - about 3,600 - who turned up for the live event at Sheikh Rashid Hall of Dubai World Trade Centre.
Kapil Sharma kept the audience hooked for more than four hours with the unique sense of comedy that has made him such a big star in entertainment circles. Bipasha Basu was a special guest at the show. Singers Shaan and Mika Singh mingled with the talented supporting cast of Mrs Sharma, Daadi, Bua, the annoying servant and Gutthi and Palak. Popular moderator Navjot Singh Sidhu was also present.
The backdrop was localised with a poster of the Burj Khalifa and a camel to reflect Dubai’s landscape and landmarks. The show was supposed to be a two-hour one but went on for around four hours and nobody in the audience was complaining.
The audience got plenty of chances to pose questions to the team of this show and mingle with celebrity guests.
