Ajtebi Injured

DUBAI - UAE jockey Ahmed Ajtebi fell from his horse as the riders left the stalls in the fifth race at the new Meydan Racecourse on Thursday. Jockey Richard Mullen said he saw Ajtebi falling down from the Godolphin horse Desuetude besides him and the horse walked on him.

Dubai Racing Club CEO Frank Gabriel Jr saidAjtebi was sent to the Rashid Hospital and they were waiting for a call from the doctor to find out his exact situation.

Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor said: “Let’s hope for the better. Please pray for him.”
