Funeral prayers for Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud were held on Friday after he passed away on Thursday, Spa reported.

The Royal Court had announced the prince's death and according to a brief statement issued on Twitter, the funeral prayers for the prince were to be held on Friday after Asr prayer at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah mosque in Riyadh.


The prayers were attended by royals, officials and dignitaries and citizens, including His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region among others.

The prayers were led by Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and head of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing Fatwas.
