The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in separate phone calls exchanged best wishes with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia; His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain; His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman; His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait and His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Amir of Qatar; on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

The President received a phone call from His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan. The two leaders exchanged Eid Al Fitr greetings.

The UAE President also received a phone call from Yemeni President Abdul Rabu Mansour Hadi. The two leaders exchanged Eid greetings.

Shaikh Mohammed to welcome well-wishers

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will receive well-wishers after Eid Al Fitr prayer at Zabeel Palace on Sunday morning.

General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent best wishes to President Shaikh Khalifa on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

In his cable, Gen Shaikh Mohammed prayed The Almighty to return the joyous feast on His Highness with good health and more welfare to the peoples of UAE and Arab and Muslim countries.

Gen. Shaikh Mohammed also dispatched similar cables of Eid greetings to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, Deputy Rulers and Crown Princes.

Gen Shaikh Mohammed also congratulated kings, Amirs and presidents of GCC, Arab and Muslim countries on the glorious occasion. —
