Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, offered his condolences to the family of martyr Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Eissa Al Baloushi, who died when the car he was in overturned in Saudi Arabia, where he was taking part in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.
Shaikh Maktoum, who offered his deepest condolences and sympathy during a visit to the family residence in Dubai, said: "Sacrifices made by the UAE's loyal citizens to avert danger and preserve the security and safety of our Arab communities from any threat is a source of pride to every Emirati. These precious sacrifices will remain a clear witness to the UAE's firm commitment to defend our fellows and provide a strong testimony to the heroism of the UAE citizen who never hesitates to answer the call of duty and offer his soul in defence of his nation's values and achievements."
He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the martyr and grant his family the patience and solace to bear the loss.
The body of martyr Al Baloushi arrived on board a military plane accompanied by a group of officers from the armed forces at dawn on Thursday at the Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi and it was received by a special military ceremony.
General Command of the UAE Armed Forces on Wednesday announced in a statement the death of Al Baloushi.- Wam
