Qaboos thanks President, VP
The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a thank you note from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman in reply to the congratulatory cable sent by Shaikh Khalifa on the 42nd National Day of Oman.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received a similar cable from Sultan Qaboos.
Turkmen president sends cables of gratitude
Shaikh Khalifa received a cable from President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow of Turkmenistan in response to a congratulatory cable sent to him on the occasion of the 21st Independence Day of Turkmenistan.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid received a similar cable from the Turkmen president.
