President, VP receive National Day greetings
The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received several cables of greetings from leaders of sisterly and friendly countries on the occasion of the 41st national day of the UAE.
Shaikh Khalifa received greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
He also received cables of greetings from Presidents James Michel of Seychelles, Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov of Turkmenistan, Vaclav Klaus of Czech, Truong Tan Sang of Vietnam, Janos Ader of Hungary and Bronislaw Komorowski of Poland.
Shaikh Khalifa also received felicitation on the occasion from Governor-General of Australia Quentin Bryce, Abdou Diouf, Secretary-General of La Francophonie, and Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has also received similar cables from Presidents of Turkmenistan, and the Czech Republic as well as from Prime Ministers Nguyen Tan Dung of Vietnam and Viktor Orban of Hungary. —
