President, VP, Mohammed bin Zayed congratulate Mursi
The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of greetings to Egypt’s president-elect Dr. Mohammed Mursi congratulating him over his victory in the elections.
The message read: It gives me pleasure to offer to you the noblest greetings and graces on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of UAE on the occasion of your winning of the presidency of Egypt.
In this occasion, we in the UAE look forward to seeing the sisterly Egyptian Arab Republic achieve further progress and development under your presidency. We wish you and the fraternal people of Egypt all the security, peace and prosperity under your wise leadership.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent to the Egyptian President Dr. Mursi a similar cable in which he expressed his best wishes for the welfare and prosperity of the people of Egypt.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also sent a cable to the new President of Egypt offering best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the Egyptian people.
