Mohammed witnesses signing of economic and diplomatic agreements with Poland

ABU DHABI - Vice President and Prime Minister the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt.General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk witnessed today the signing of an agreement for economic cooperation between UAE and Poland, and another agreement for mutual exemption of pre-visa requirement for diplomats between the two countries.

At a special ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, the first agreement was signed by UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri and his Polish counterpart, while the second agreement was signed by Assistant to Foreign Minister for legal affairs Abdul Rahim Al Ewadhi and a senior official at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After the signing, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister shook hands with the Polish Prime Minister and the members of his delegation, wishing that their visit will bring useful and concrete results for the two nations through cooperation in humanitarian, cultural, economic and tourism avenues thus contributing to peace, coexistence and mutual respect among the peoples of the world.

The signing was attended by Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, a number of other officials and the members of the Polish delegation.
