Leaders review efforts to better citizens’ wellbeing

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at the St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by Dubai Crown Prince Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE National Security Adviser and Vice-Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Chairman of the Presidential Aviation Shaikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Reflecting utmost attention to the wellbeing of Emiratis, the meeting discussed the efforts exerted by the UAE President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to ensure best living standards are provided for Emirati citizens. It also highlighted the profound belief by UAE leadership that all resources must be utilised to benefit the country and its people on all levels.

The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince congratulated Shaikh Mohammed on winning the 2012 FEI World Endurance Championship title, considering the achievement a grand victory for UAE sports in international arenas. Shaikh Mohammed clinched the gold medal for the Individual Category and led the UAE team to harvest gold in the Team Category ahead of 38 international teams at the event.

Shaikh Mohammed thanked his brother General Shaikh Mohammed and dedicated the victory to the wise leadership of the UAE. Shaikh Mohammed was also congratulated by Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed and Shaikh Tahnoun bin Zayed.
