Khalifa foundation delegation visits Yemen
UAE ambassador to Yemen Abdullah Matar Al Mazroui on Wednesday discussed with a delegation of the Khalifa bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation mechanisms for implementing the Dh500-million donation ordered by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to buy and distribute food stuff among the Yemeni people on urgent basis.
The order is in line with Shaikh Khalifa’s keenness to provide Yemeni people with the food and commodities necessary to help them overcome their current difficulties and complete the new phase of construction to ensure stability.
Al Mazroui welcomed Khalifa foundation team who is participating and distributing the aid and lauded the President’s directives to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people.
