The Ruler also opened a judicial museum which narrates the history of judicial development in the emirate starting for the establishment of the Fujairah Court in 1969. This is the first judicial museum in the country annexed to any federal court.
After opening, the Ruler toured various wings of the Courthouse accompanied by the Crown Prince. He admired the new House of Justice, which integrates itself with similar edifices across the UAE.
The Ruler hailed the support rendered to the judicial system by UAE President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of emirates.
He also hailed the role of the judicial cadre in helping the country’s legal system develop.
The Courthouse, built in an architectural style that upholds the prestige and dignity of the seat of justice and facilitates smooth and easy administering of the law and adjudication, is a marvelous addition to the emirate’s infrastructure.
