Dubai’s relief aid to Sudan hailed

The wali (Governor) of Sudan’s Kassala State Mohamed Yousuf Adam hailed the relief aid sent by the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment to Sudan to help the victims of recent floods which hit across the country.

The Establishment recently dispatched 100 tonnes of relief materials to assist Sudan, according to Ibrahim Bu Melha, Chairman of the Establishment who said the move reflects the leadership’s belief in the need to help needy people at times of crisis.

The Establishment’s delegation to Sudan was by Saleh Zaher Saleh and Osman Mohammad Hassan, Logistics Supervisor,

The move is part of the UAE’s humanitarian approach established by the late founding father and the late Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum and later adopted by His Highness President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Bu Melha added.
